This album was produced last year by myself and Roberto as a duo to compete with the guitar solo album that I (Jap Sakaki) planned with Takumaro, Armida, and Joaquín. However, most of the accompaniments brought by Roberto, who had recently been creating minimal BGM-like music, were mostly Tropical/Monochrome Classical Movie-Style Jazz/Light Music tracks, with few hard rock tunes. There were many tracks where my guitar playing wasn't that noticeable, and the album ended up with a rather gentle impression. (It's different from what I had in mind, but I'm satisfied with the level of completion.)

Shigeru (Jap) Sakaki

Unlike Shigeru's intended album, which is a consistent hard rock album, I intended to create a fairy-tale-like album that was quite to my liking. (Track 7 and 8 are completely dominated by my jazz piano, with no involvement from Shigeru at all.) And track 9 is my solo work, so he's not really involved. As expected, I was getting tired of the band's sound, which had a lot of intense tension and complex structure. I was able to relax and freely create pop sounds like this that I enjoy. We will also create Experimental and Alternative works in the future. But I really want listeners to enjoy this album with a smile on their faces.
