Due to my perfectionism, I will be releasing previously unreleased works in several albums. I would like to sincerely apologize to Shigeru and Armida, who played with me as a trio and caused any inconvenience, but if it weren't for the chaos of Covid, these works should have been released much earlier. In this album, tracks 1, 7, 10, 13, and 14 are my solo piano pieces. The four tracks with (Sólo) added to their titles were recorded by myself between 2011 and 2013, right after the Great East Japan Earthquake. At that time, I was depressed and didn't want to socialize with people. (However, it stands to reason that the people living in Fukushima at that time had some form of mental illness or anxiety disorder) Shigeru wrote a commentary for our trio.

These are some of the pieces I made when I couldn't use my voice for a while for some reason, and wanted a change of pace by playing the bass instead of the guitar. Lately, I've been creating only instrumental pieces instead of songs, and that's because Covid restrictions have been lifted in Japan, so I've been singing a lot at Karaoke, which I couldn't do before. The trio of Armida, Roberto and I formed around 2015 if I remember correctly. From then until around 2019, we each brought in tracks that we had recorded individually using sheet music and recorded them at home. We recorded about 20 tracks and planned to sell the trio to record companies. However, Roberto, who composed most of the pieces, was dissatisfied with his playing and sound quality, and until recently Armida and I had to wait until Roberto came up with a performance that we were satisfied with. His (Sólo) works have a sentimentality that instantly captures people's hearts, which is why I gave them this Spanish title. "Music of the Heart'' I'm always saying stupid nonsense, and there are people who think I'm really stupid, so I wrote something serious once in a while.

Holy Moly! This is very awesome. It is the new phenomenon. People were talking about K Pop yesterday. Now they're talking about Love Dolls. It is so exciting. The concept of Love Dolls is very spiritual too. This must be what The Holy Ghost sees humans as. These songs are very alive. They make me happy. I feel tremendous joy and cheer. These tunes are so merry and jolly. 😹 Michael
