Shigeru (Jap) Sakaki's short message.

10 years ago we were fine, but Fukushima,
where we all lived at the time, was in a dire situation.
(And the situation hasn't changed.)
I met some Spanish-Japanese in Spain
where I was traveling at the time.
Among them, they were musicians of the same generation as me,
and they had a plan to go to Japan,
so I decided to have them join my band.
Now we live separately,
but we're planning a recording in a remote session.

I also dream of recording with the same members someday.

(They have become official members of my bandcamp,
"Nijino Recors", so I'd like to write their biography here.)
"Demiurge Jap" was formed around 2008
by "Jap Sakaki" and his friend (a guitarist) Takumaro Kaibara
... a songwriting band where Jap writes the lyrics
and compose a melody and ｍembers
arrange accompaniment to complete the song.
... initially a four-piece rock band that included
a bassist and a drummer, and occasionally repeated gigs
in a small local club with a hard rock J-pop attitude that Jap liked.
... But he's too bad at playing, Jap's weird shouts,
and his distorted rhythmic ad-lib style are pretty no-wave noise rock.
(... that sound source was interesting because of that.)
... the bassist and drummer left the band after the earthquake,
and the band restarted as a duo of Jap and a guitarist Takumaro.
… The optimistic Jap and the calm Takumaro's symmetric personality
have grown into a cohesive band,
compensating for each other's shortcomings.
... the two decided to focus on songwriting,
which is more likely to be a hit.
… And a few Jap friends,
Spanish and American Japanese, have joined the band.
... and for marketing, let the branch office of "GAINAX",
which was established in Miharu Town,
Fukushima Prefecture at that time,
produce MV animations of "Raison D'etre"
for reconstruction from the earthquake.
(... But the people of Fukushima
were so indifferent to subculture that "GAINAX" withdrew.)
... So, the two decided to leave the subsequent video production
for the MV to their friend's visual artist
"NERD + NEET to Live for Ahegao Group".
... this Album is currently a collection
of all songs they have completed to their satisfaction.
